Delhi High Court allows Xiaomi to sell phones till January 8 in India
Recently reported that Xiaomi was banned from importing, selling, and marketing its smartphones in India due to an injunction from Ericsson, claiming Xiaomi infringed upon its patents.
What happens after that date remains to be seen but we will keep you posted.
Update: According to Hugo Barra's Facebook post, Xiaomi will resume the sales of the Redmi 1s from December 23. The company will also shortly begin the sales of the Redmi Note 4G. Also, according to the Delhi High Court, the matter will come up for further arguments at a court hearing on February 5.
