Set Your Computer’s Time and Date
1. Right-click the clock in the lower-right corner of your
computer screen and choose Adjust Date/Time.
2. Click the Change Date and Time button in the Date and
Time dialog box.
3. Use the clock and calendar to adjust your laptop to the
correct date and time and then click OK.
4. Click the Change Time Zone button to adjust the computer to the correct time zone.
5. To automatically sync your laptop’s time to an outside
time source, click the Internet Time tab and enter the
server address.
The time is set to http://time.windows.
comby default.
6. You can set up different clocks to monitor by clicking
the Additional Clocks tab. Click the Show This Clock
check box for as many as two additional clocks and set
the time zones for each one.
This strategy can be a handy way of monitoring the time for
farflung relatives, friends, or business associates
